Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Access Management in Fairmont, WV. You will manage entry points, verify badges, and maintain visitor records while contributing to a safe, professional environment.

We value experience with access control, badge systems, and comfort using a computer or tablet. A high school diploma is required and a background check and drug screen will be conducted in accordance with laws.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue and collect visitor badges, and maintain records.
• Control vehicle, employee, contractor, and visitor access per site requirements and escalate concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document actions.
• Conduct regular patrols of access areas and report security-related concerns.
