Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for a gated community in Laguna Beach, CA. You will manage entry points, verify access, monitor activity, and patrol the premises while delivering excellent resident and guest service.

The role requires at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Schedule includes specific DayTime shifts with a $21.85/hour pay rate.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• As a condition of employment, applicant will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and maintain access-related records.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns in a calm, professional manner per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of community areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Communicate with property management and residents regarding rules and security observations.
