Job summary

Allied Universal in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for the Visitor Credential Desk. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and maintain logs to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries.

This role offers a flexible weekend schedule (Sat and Sun 6:00 AM–6:00 PM) with competitive pay of $16.32 per hour, opportunities for skill development, and access to Allied Universal’s smart tools and perks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorized access for personnel, contractors, visitors, and delivery vehicles entering or leaving the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate visitor and vehicle logs, and communicate access-related concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, trailer yards, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
