Job summary

Allied Universal in Mukilteo, WA is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for entry screening at an aerospace/defense location. You will monitor access points, verify credentials, assist visitors, and provide professional customer service.

This role offers flexible daytime shifts, pay rate $22.87 per hour, and a chance to grow with a leading security team. Minimum requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift 20 pounds, and a background check.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required, per law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and access-control protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization credentials, manage visitor entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and security concerns calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and leadership.
