Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Verify credentials and authorize entry per site procedures; maintain access records.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and other systems; report anomalies and equipment concerns.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; follow escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas; environments may vary by client site.
