Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Access Authorization Assistant in Renton, WA. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and maintain access records while delivering excellent customer service in a dynamic aerospace/defense setting.

The role emphasizes collaboration, reliability, and a professional presence, with shift-based responsibilities and a focus on safe, compliant access control.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A background check will be conducted as required by law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation.
• Control entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, vehicles, and deliveries, maintaining records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
