Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Access Control Keyholder in Ashburn, VA to monitor entry points, manage badge access, and respond to alarms while delivering excellent customer service.

You will conduct patrols, verify credentials, and document security events, supporting a safe, welcoming environment for clients and staff. Flexible scheduling and a strong team culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization credentials, manage visitor registration, and maintain access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, lobbies, restricted areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Report security-related concerns, unusual activity, access-control issues, and incidents through required documentation and communication channels.
