Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Badge Control in Crete, NE to safeguard clients across industries. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow within a leading security company.

You will manage access control, verify credentials, and provide professional customer service. Responsibilities include monitoring entry points, issuing credentials, and responding to incidents with calm, clear communication.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access records.
• Control access for deliveries, vendors, and contractors according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, exterior areas, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
