Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time) in Crete, NE. You will manage access points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor visitor activity at a food and beverage production location. The role emphasizes customer service and teamwork in a welcoming, secure environment.

Schedule is Tue–Fri ~ 8 hours shifts with day/evening coverage. Minimum requirements include a HS diploma or equivalent, background check, and ability to work 18+; CPR certification and security

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by following site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain access-control logs.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, perimeters, parking areas, and grounds to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Direct visitors, vendors, and deliveries to appropriate check-in locations and communicate entry requirements.
