Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Driver Entrance Verification in Darlington, SC. You’ll manage entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional environment with strong customer service.

The role requires two years of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and comfort with badge systems. Training, a flexible schedule, and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry processes, and maintain accurate access-related documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, restricted areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, policy concerns, and unusual activity.
