Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for an Access Control Desk in Richmond, VA. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and respond to incidents, maintaining a secure environment for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Guard Card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by conducting access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and manage entry/exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and direct guests per location procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents and alarms calmly, escalating concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to identify and report security concerns.
• Maintain a professional environment and accurate activity reports at a technology-focused location.
