Job summary

Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ seeks a part-time, in-person Program Assistant to support Academic Support Programs. The role reports to the Director, providing holistic assistance to students and coordinating events, calendars and communications.

Requires a Bachelor's degree and strong communication skills, with preference for experience in academic support and diverse learners. The position is limited to 25 hours per week, up to 944 hours per fiscal year, with pay at $22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• One year of professional experience.
• Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.
• Experience in academic support and helping diverse learners is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer general academic questions and assist students in navigating Rowan.
• Manage phone, emails, and office calendars; organize databases and events.
• Schedule appointments and send reminders; track no-shows and reschedule.
• Coordinate with campus resources and use Self-Service Banner and Canvas.
