Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay is seeking a part-time 21st Century Teacher in Temple Terrace, FL to manage and deliver after-school learning programs. The role focuses on tutoring, literacy development and enrichment aligned with Florida State Standards.

The position is approximately 20 hours per week and reports to the VP of Educational Programs. Responsibilities include planning education activities, monitoring Student Learning Plans, and ensuring program fidelity while maintaining

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in education is required.
• Familiar with Florida State standards and able to identify gaps in learning.
• Collaborate effectively with partners and schools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to meet deadlines under tight schedules.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.
• Experience with IXL is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Training in SEL or Trauma-Informed Care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of 21st Century Learning Center tutoring, literacy development, and enrichment.
• Plan and implement education programs meeting Florida standards.
• Monitor sessions to ensure alignment with Student Learning Plans and policies.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for educational programs.
• Assist with diagnostic evaluation and communication with schools as needed.
