Job summary

Helping Hands Family in Lancaster, NY (East Lancaster) is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide personalized, play-based ABA therapy to children with autism in clinics, homes, or community settings. The role is part-time, 10am-2pm, Monday through Friday, with a focus on building vital skills and progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant human services degree preferred.
• Comfort working with children in various settings.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (walking, lifting up to 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 direct care to children with autism in clinics, at home, or in the community.
• Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments and positive reinforcement.
• Implement therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Accurately collect behavior data and collaborate with the team to support each child’s progress.
