Job summary

ABA Centers of Connecticut is seeking Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and Behavior Technician (BT) to support clients across Cheshire, Trumbull, Waterbury, New Haven and nearby areas. Part-time positions with paid training, mentorship, and clear paths for advancement.

Starting pay is $22.25/hour for BTs and $24.60/hour for RBTs, with final compensation based on experience, training, and education. Join a mission-driven team delivering ABA therapy, with opportunities for growth and tuition

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.
• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields preferred.
• Prior exposure to ABA services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track Progress & Maintain Quality.
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately.
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.
