Job summary

Beachmont Behavioral Health is seeking Part-Time Behavior Technicians to provide ABA services to clients in Thousand Oaks and Oxnard, CA. The role involves implementing skill acquisition programs under supervision, gathering data, and supporting clients in home and center settings.

Prerequisites include a high school diploma and reliable transportation; Spanish preferred but not required. This position offers a flexible schedule, travel pay between appointments, and opportunities for training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability Monday-Friday, 12:00-8:00 p.m., with consistent attendance for assigned sessions.
• Reliable transportation to assigned service locations in Thousand Oaks and Oxnard.
• Access to a compatible mobile device for scheduling, data collection, and documentation.
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to complete required training and applicable pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Implement skill acquisition programs and behavior intervention plans developed by a BCBA.
• Help clients practice meaningful skills through structured teaching and everyday activities.
• Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Collect accurate data using our data collection app and complete timely session notes.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and BAAs, participate in training, and apply feedback.
• Follow safety procedures and report clinical concerns promptly.
• Maintain dependable attendance, professional boundaries, and client confidentiality.
