Job summary

Ocean Psychological Services in Oxnard, CA seeks a part-time Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy under supervision. The role focuses on implementing individualized treatment plans and data-driven progress tracking in a collaborative clinical setting.

You will work directly with clients, develop instructional materials, and support social skills groups while maintaining professional communication with the team and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children.
• Active RBT certification preferred.
• Prior experience or understanding of ABA principles preferred.
• Strong data collection, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds.
• Must provide minimum 15 hours weekly availability between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM (weekends possible).

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy based on individualized client goals and treatment plans.
• Collect, document, and analyze data during sessions to monitor progress and guide treatment decisions.
• Attend client team meetings, quarterly staff meetings, and professional development workshops.
• Create and utilize instructional materials to support therapy goals.
• Facilitate individual and small group social skills training sessions as appropriate.
• Maintain timely communication, including checking and responding to company emails on business days.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
