Job summary

Beachmont Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to provide ABA services to clients in their homes and centers, with opportunities in daycares and community settings. This role involves implementing individualized treatment plans under clinical supervision and collecting data to track progress.

You will work with BCBA- and BA A-supervised teams, communicate with families, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability Monday–Friday, 12:00–8:00 p.m., with consistent attendance for assigned sessions.
• Reliable transportation to Thousand Oaks and Oxnard locations.
• Access to a compatible mobile device for scheduling, data collection, and documentation.
• Willingness to complete required training and applicable pre-employment screening.
• Experience in ABA/education/childcare preferred; RBT certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized skill acquisition programs and behavior plans developed by BCBA.
• Help clients practice meaningful skills through structured teaching and daily activities.
• Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Collect accurate data using the data collection app and complete session notes.
• Collaborate with BCBA/BAA, participate in training, and apply feedback.
• Follow safety procedures and report clinical concerns promptly.
• Maintain dependable attendance and client confidentiality.

Part-Time Behavior Technician

Pay: $21–$26 per hour

Employment type: Part-time

Required availability: Monday–Friday, 12:00–8:00 p.m. Assigned work hours fall within this availability window; this is a part-time position.

Beachmont Behavioral Health is seeking Behavior Technicians to provide individualized applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to children, adolescents, and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Help clients build communication, independence, social participation, and daily living skills while implementing individualized treatment plans under clinical supervision. Services take place primarily in clients’ homes, with additional opportunities in our center, daycares, and community settings.

What you’ll do

• Implement individualized skill acquisition programs and function-based behavior intervention plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Help clients practice meaningful skills through structured teaching and everyday activities.
• Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Collect accurate data using our data collection app and complete timely, objective session notes.
• Collaborate with your BCBA and Behavior Analyst Assistant (BAA), participate in training, and apply performance feedback.
• Follow individualized safety procedures and promptly report clinical concerns.
• Maintain dependable attendance, professional boundaries, and client confidentiality.

Spanish proficiency is preferred, but not required. Experience in ABA, education, childcare, developmental disabilities, or related services is preferred. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a plus.
