Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services in Yonkers is seeking part-time, hourly paraprofessional/behavior therapists to provide direct ABA instruction in home, clinic, and community settings. Location includes Yonkers and surrounding areas.

You will collaborate with BCBA and therapy team, collect daily data, and communicate with families with debriefs and home resources. Compensation ranges from $19 to $25 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have 1-2 years working with children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting.
• Successful completion of 20 hour classroom training and passing competency exam.
• Passion for helping children and families; working with therapists.
• Comfortable working in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other therapists on the case.
• Communicate frequently with family members with debriefs and resources for home/community use.
• Collect daily data and organize child’s program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families per state and federal regulations.
