Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking dedicated Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in ABA-based interventions in the Holyoke area. You will help kids improve communication, social skills, and self-care while collaborating with families and BCBA supervision.

The role is part-time (12–20 hours per week) and field-based, offering opportunities for growth towards RBT certification and BCBA pathways with our supportive guidance and training—join a compassionate team

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: RBT certification if already obtained.
• Passion for working with children and family-centered ABA care.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
• Experience with children is advantageous; ongoing learning mindset is required.
• Transportation: valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Device requirement: Tablet or laptop to use during sessions.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Record and report client progress and behavior daily.
• Manage challenging behaviors as part of ABA intervention.
• Apply behavioral principles consistently during interactions.
• Assist clients to acquire academic and life skills.
• Communicate professionally with parents, analysts, trainers, and clients.
• Complete daily paperwork and data entry in the online database.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve skills.
• Maintain client confidentiality and follow BE policies.
