Job summary

Sevita is seeking a Part-time Behavioral Technician in Plymouth, MA, to implement behavior management programs in a center-based, 1:1 setting, closely collaborating with a BCBA. Hours are 1:45 pm to 5:45 pm, Monday through Friday.

The role requires a High School Diploma with RBT credential or higher, and experience with youth or individuals with developmental disabilities. A New Hire Bonus is offered for PT employees.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: High School Diploma with RBT credential or higher.
• Experience with youth, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to establish trust quickly.
• Good listener with empathetic guidance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship with the person served.
• Follow treatment plan goals and interventions with consultation.
• Collaborate with family and treatment team to apply behavior management techniques.
• Educate parents/guardians on reinforcement and interventions when requested.
• Promote replacement behaviors to develop communication, social, and problem-solving skills.
• Record objective progress using ABC data and related methods.
• Complete required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Attend clinical meetings as assigned.
• Provide up-to-date residential status and identify program barriers.
