Job summary

ABC Pathways, LLC in Homewood, IL is seeking a Behavior Technician to implement individualized ABA-based intervention plans created by a BCBA, collect data, monitor progress, and reinforce positive behaviors. You will communicate with families and the BCBA and maintain confidentiality.

The role starts with a part-time caseload (about 20 hours weekly) with potential to grow to full-time as opportunities arise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children (childcare, education or similar).
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Highly dependable and organized.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans created by a BCBA.
• Collect and record data on client behavior during therapy sessions.
• Monitor and document progress toward treatment goals.
• Reinforce positive behaviors.
• Communicate effectively with clients, parents, caregivers, and the BCBA.
• Maintain client confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines.
