Job summary

Acorn Health is a ABA treatment provider focused on delivering high quality, intensive ABA interventions under supervision of BCBA. The Part-Time Behavior Technician will work directly with clients in center, home, or school settings, delivering 1:1 therapy to increase skills and reduce problem behaviors.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience working with children highly preferred.
• Obtained or pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, teaching, or related field preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Should enjoy working on an interdisciplinary team and collaborating with others.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 direct ABA treatment to clients to increase skills and strengthen supports.
• Work closely with supervising BCBA and team for high quality service delivery.
• Support parent and caregiver training as directed by the BCBA.
• Complete training to provide therapy (state requirements vary).
• Schedule may include driving between clients.
