Job summary

Westtown School in West Chester, PA, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support our Upper School Student Wellness Center. The 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift runs on a rotating schedule across Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with some additional shifts possible.

This academic-year role begins immediately and continues through early June, serving boarding and day students after school. The nurse will provide medical care, administer medications, maintain health records, and support students’

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-3 years of medical-surgical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prior school nurse experience is preferred, preferably in an independent school environment.

• Excellent clinical judgment and the ability to respond to urgent situations calmly and efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent initiative and follow-through.
• Diplomacy, tact, and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

Part-time 3:00-11:00 PM Registered Nurse

Westtown School seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to work part-time in our Upper School Student Wellness Center. The part-time nurse will work from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on a rotating schedule of three days one week (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) and two days the following week (Wednesday and Friday). Some additional shifts may be available. This is an academic year position starting immediately and continuing through early June. As a member of our dynamic team of healthcare professionals, the part-time nurse will oversee and respond to the medical needs of our Upper School boarding and day students in the afternoons and evenings.
