Job summary

NorthKey Community Care in Covington, KY is seeking a Part-Time 2nd shift National Suicide Prevention Lifeline Crisis Intervention Specialist for the 988 program. The role is on-site at 502 Farrell Drive, with a 2nd shift from 4:30 pm to 1 am on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, plus weekends and holidays rotating.

You will screen for suicidal intent, de-escalate crises, document interactions, and connect individuals to community resources, while collaborating with the team to ensure safe,

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year experience in crisis response or crisis intervention.
• Bachelor's degree in human/social services preferred.
• Experience answering National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (988) calls is a plus.
• Excellent listening, de-escalation, and rapport-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen for suicidal intent and assess immediate safety.
• Use compassionate communication and active listening to de-escalate crises.
• Work under pressure with individuals in immediate crisis.
• Document all client interactions accurately and promptly.
• Provide resources and coordinate with services to meet needs.
