Job summary

The YMCA of Metro Atlanta in Brookhaven is seeking a qualified 21st Century Certified Teacher. This part-time position focuses on delivering academic and enrichment support in a virtual format to students, helping them succeed through comprehensive tutoring and project-based learning.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, teaching certification, and experience working with children. Responsibilities include lesson development, data collection, and collaboration with educational stakeholders. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Title 1 schools preferred.
• Ability to obtain working knowledge of 21st CCLC requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Support the After School program with academic instruction.
• Facilitate academic sessions and serve as the lead instructor.
• Collaborate with youth, parents, and school teachers.
