Alabama State Department of Education seeks a Part-time 21st Century Community Learning Center District Coordinator to assist the District Grant Writer with day-to-day operations of the district’s CCLC programs. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education required.
• Three years experience as classroom teacher required.
• Prior experience supervising an after school program required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with individuals of diverse cultural/ethnic backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality program services and support to enrolled children and families; maintain sufficient communication.
• Ensure all staff and program activities comply with rules, policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate financial records for 21st CCLC site coordinators and district grant writer.
• Assist data collection and analysis for the program and grant reporting.
• Coordinate required parent and family events.
• Strengthen community partnerships related to 21st CCLC.
• Meet with staff and principal to discuss student needs and program compliance.
• Attend all required meetings and training.
• Coordinate professional development for staff.
• Align activities with grant goals and proposed actions.
• Assist in budgeting, data collection/analysis, program evaluation, and reports.
• Maintain up-to-date grant documentation.
• Collaborate with principals and district coordinators.
