Job summary

Wilkinson County Schools is seeking a 21st Century Community Learning Center Program Specialist (Vendor) to develop and deliver engaging after-school activities aligned with grant goals. You will work with the Site Manager to provide a safe, supportive learning environment and extend learning beyond regular hours.

The role emphasizes youth development, curriculum design, family communication, and data reporting, with opportunities to collaborate with community organizations and school staff.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering programs for youth in education or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of youth development and positive youth relationships.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with diverse populations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity and flexibility in delivering engaging programming.
• Familiarity with data tracking systems and program evaluation tools beneficial.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Compliance with all background check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging activities aligned with 21st CCLC goals.
• Offer enrichment activities in arts, music, counseling, and service-learning.
• Develop age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Promote learning and social development through mentorship.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming learning environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and drills.
• Motivate and guide students through positive relationships.
• Maintain attendance and enrollment records.
• Communicate with families and build home connections.
• Provide homework assistance and academic support.
• Collaborate with Program Coordinator, administration, and teachers to align with curriculum.
• Maintain data related to program activities and performance.
• Submit required reports and support program evaluation.
