A legal services provider is seeking a part-time Process Server in the Southern Tier of NYS. Responsibilities include delivering legal documents, maintaining service records, and upholding confidentiality. Candidates must be 18 or older, hold a valid driver's license, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. Previous experience in legal support is preferred, but training will be provided. This role offers a flexible schedule, primarily covering counties such as Chautaugua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, Steuben, and Chemung.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Process Server to join our team part-time for the Southern Tier of NYS. Counties seeking coverage are Chautaugua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, Steuben, and Chemung. The Process Server will be responsible for delivering legal documents to individuals involved in court cases while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver legal documents to designated individuals in a timely, lawful, and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of all attempts and completed services
• Sign affidavits/affirmations of service daily once services are completed
• Communicate effectively with office staff regarding case status and service attempt
