A legal services provider is seeking a part-time Process Server in the Southern Tier of NYS. Responsibilities include delivering legal documents, maintaining service records, and upholding confidentiality. Previous experience in legal support is preferred, but training will be provided. Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
Ability to work independently and handle sensitive situations professionally.
Prior experience in process serving, law enforcement, or legal support is preferred, but training will be provided.
Responsibilities
Deliver legal documents to designated individuals in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate records of all service attempts and completions.
Sign affidavits/affirmations of service upon completion.
Communicate with office staff regarding case status and service attempts.
