Job summary

Volt is hiring a Parts Finisher in Carlsbad, CA for a full-time role in an ITAR-certified 3D printing manufacturing environment. You will sort builds, install inserts, and log inspection data.

You will work with MJF Supervisors and Program Expeditors while following Job Sheets and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Ideal candidates have prior production experience, strong attention to detail and solid Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Requires production/manufacturing experience and ability to read detailed work instructions.
• Proficient with MS Office and data entry into QA databases.
• Good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Volt is immediately hiring a Parts Finisher for an ITAR-certified 3D printing manufacturing company in Carlsbad.

As a Parts Finisher you will:

Job Description:

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Sort builds and jobs while ensuring accurate part counts.
• Install part inserts as required.
• Enter inspection and production data into the QA database.
• Work closely with MJF Supervisors and Program Expeditors.
• Follow detailed work instructions outlined on Job Sheets.
• Visually inspect parts for defects and quality issues.
• Reject non-conforming parts and document findings as needed.
• Ensure all jobs are delivered to the QC and Shipping departments on time.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Promote a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

This is a Full-Time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous production or manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Experience working in an ITAR-regulated facility.

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Overtime may be required)

Days: Monday through Friday

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
