Job summary

State of Colorado is seeking a Corrections Case Manager I to provide community-based case management and supervision for individuals on parole with low-level supervision needs. You will work closely with Community Parole Officers and treatment providers to promote reintegration and public safety.

The role requires organizing caseloads, updating individualized plans, and leveraging motivational interviewing to encourage accountability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in related field (inmate intake, risk/need assessments, case plans) or a combination of education and experience totaling 3 years.
• Experience applying risk/need assessments (LSI, ORAS-CST, CTAP) in a direct client-facing setting.
• Strong ability to develop and monitor individualized case plans and document progress.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned caseload for parolees under supervision.
• Conduct scheduled contacts and maintain case contact standards.
• Develop, review, and update individualized case plans addressing criminogenic needs.
• Use motivational interviewing and evidence-based practices to support behavior change.
• Monitor compliance with parole conditions and related requirements.
• Identify changes in risk/needs and adjust supervision strategy accordingly.
• Connect clients to community resources and support services.
• Maintain accurate case records and participate in team meetings.
