Job summary

State of Colorado’s Department of Corrections is seeking a case management professional to support offender re-entry at Buena Vista Correctional Complex. You will use an advocacy-based team approach to guide clients from intake to release, coordinating access to work, education, treatment and programs.

The role requires strong communication, planning, and crisis-intervention skills, with emphasis on CTAP-aligned interventions and compliance with CDOC policies.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience with hard-to-serve high-needs clients in corrections or human services.
• Experience with offender management components incl. ICC/classification and housing.
• Combination of education and experience meeting MQs; documented in work experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet with offenders to guide them per CDOC needs and regulations.
• Deliver case management using motivational interviewing and CTAP.
• Coordinate access to work, education, treatment and programs; conduct risk assessments.
• Maintain progress, complete regular assessments, and coordinate services across teams.
