The City of Roswell, Georgia is seeking a Parks and Grounds Maintenance worker to perform manual tasks across parks, grounds, facilities, and related infrastructure. The role involves physical work under supervision, operating light equipment, and assisting with set-up and cleanup of worksites.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 3 years of related experience, plus a valid Georgia driver’s license with a clean MVR.

Formación

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years of grounds or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
Valid Georgia driver’s license with a satisfactory MVR is required; CDL preferred but not required.
May require a Flagging Certification and other certifications as assigned.
Ability to learn city/department policies and operate varied equipment and tools.

Responsabilidades

Perform manual work in grounds, parks, streets, or facilities maintenance.
Operate light equipment and tools such as mowers, trimmers, edgers, and other machinery.
Set up and clean work sites; assist with project preparation and material handling.
Follow safety procedures and set up work zones; monitor traffic as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and basic repairs of equipment; report faults.
Complete forms, reports, and timekeeping as required.
Coordinate with supervisor and other departments to ensure workflow.
