Job summary

The City of Roswell, Georgia is seeking a Crew Supervisor - Parks to lead daily park maintenance across the Roswell Area Park and city parks. You will supervise staff, enforce safety rules, coordinate projects, and help keep public spaces well-maintained and safe for residents and visitors.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent with five years of construction/maintenance experience, plus a valid Georgia CDL.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; supplemented by five (5) years of experience in construction, maintenance, and upkeep of streets, public parks and facilities.
• Possess and maintain a valid Georgia CDL with appropriate endorsements and a clean MVR.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to supervise multiple maintenance crews.

Responsibilities

• Directs, supervises, and evaluates assigned staff regarding park maintenance, workplace safety and equipment operation.
• Manages athletic fields, trails, playgrounds, and other park facilities for quality and safety.
• Operates and coordinates equipment and vehicles; trains staff on proper use.
• Performs customer service with the public and coordinates with departments and contractors.
