Responsibilities

• Performs manual work in grounds, parks, facilities, streets, and/or infrastructure under supervision.
• Mows grass, trims and edges along roadways and landscaped areas, plants and maintains trees, shrubs, and flowers.
• Cleans and maintains athletic fields, bleachers, courts, trails, and related facilities.
• Sets up and cleans up work-site areas; assists with setup/breakdown for events and activities.
• Operates a variety of light equipment and tools used in department projects.
• Follows safety procedures, sets up work zones, and monitors traffic around work-site.
• Reviews forms, reports, and schedules; coordinates with supervisor and others to complete tasks.
