Job summary

The City of Auburn, Alabama, is seeking an Athletic and Parks Maintenance Worker to assist in the upkeep of city parks and athletic facilities. This Regular Full-Time position reports to the Athletics and Parks Facilities Superintendent or the Softball Complex Maintenance Supervisor and requires availability to work outdoors in variable weather.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate a range of maintenance equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of grounds maintenance principles and safety regulations.
• Ability to work with the public and team members.
• Ability to manage time and work independently.
