Job Title: Parks Maintenance Worker

• This full-time position involves performing various manual tasks requiring the use of simple motorized equipment and hand tools.
• Responsibilities include maintaining recreation parks and grounds, trash removal, bathroom and facility cleaning, sanitation, and upkeep of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities.
• Tasks also include mowing, raking leaves, trimming shrubbery, removing brush, planting trees, flowers, and assisting with athletic field cleanup.
• Must have knowledge of landscaping and maintenance tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy manual work in different weather conditions, lift up to 75 lbs safely, and bend, stoop, and climb as needed.
• A valid North Carolina driver's license is required.

Salary: Starting at $32,706 annually.
