Job summary

The City of Clayton is seeking a Municipal Service Technician I for the Parks Maintenance Department. In this role, you'll perform manual maintenance work, including cleaning park grounds, assisting with landscaping, and supporting various city events. Candidates should possess a high school diploma and one year of experience in park maintenance or landscaping.

This position requires a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License within six months and certification in CPR/AED and First Aid. The role offers generous leave and comprehensive insurance benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of previous work experience in park maintenance, landscaping, or facility maintenance.
• Possession of a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License within six months of employment.
• Certification in CPR/AED and First Aid required within three months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Delivers excellent customer service to residents and patrons.
• Maintains and cleans park grounds and restroom facilities.
• Assists with landscape maintenance and tree work.
• Mows and trims parks by operating mowers.
• Assists with the maintenance of tennis and aquatic centers.
