Job summary

Clayton Homes (New) seeks a Turf & Grass Technician I to maintain and improve our Clayton Campus grounds across multiple sites. The role emphasizes safety, productivity, and attention to detail for lawn care on the Home Office, Clayton Road, The Lodge, and other campuses.

This part-time position (20-25 hours/week) runs M-F from 7am to 5pm. Knowledge of lawn maintenance and basic turf care is required, with training provided for fertilizer and chemical applications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to learn lawn maintenance and pesticide/fertilizer applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain campus lawns including trimming, edging, mowing, weeding, and cleanup.
• Measure, mix, and apply fertilizers, pesticides, and fungicides under supervision.
• Operate mowers and groundskeeping equipment; perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Install mulch in ornamental beds and perform seasonal leaf/snow removal.
• Assist with outdoor event setups and campus operations tasks.
