Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Turf & Grass Technician I to maintain the Clayton Campus grounds, including the Home Office and related facilities. The role is part-time (20-25 hours/week), with hours Monday to Friday between 7am-5pm, on-site at the Clayton campuses.

Responsibilities include lawn maintenance, fertilizer/insecticide/fungicide applications, equipment operation, and seasonal landscaping tasks. Essential personnel may be required to work during emergencies to support critical campus

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of lawn maintenance or ability to learn.
• Basic knowledge in or ability to learn application of fertilizers, insecticides and fungicides.
• Basic knowledge of or ability to learn operation of mowers and machinery used in groundskeeping.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain campus lawns via trimming, mowing, edging and weeding.
• Mix and apply fertilizers, insecticides, and fungicides under supervision.
• Operate groundskeeping equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Assist with outdoor event setups as needed.
