Job summary

The Town of Danville is seeking a Maintenance Division Manager for its Parks and Recreation Department. You will plan and oversee maintenance projects for parks, facilities, and related areas, ensuring schedules, safety, and quality.

Responsibilities include leading the maintenance team, coordinating with other departments, managing contracts and budgets, and upholding safety guidelines. Indiana driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction-related work including electrical, plumbing, welding, and carpentry.
• Experience in mechanical work including automotive and small-engine mechanics.
• Experience leading a team and coordinating work assignments.
• Strong focus on safety and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate maintenance projects for parks, facilities, and related areas.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of the maintenance division.
• Coordinate with Town departments, contractors, and the public to ensure project success.
• Oversee budgeting, contract management, and invoicing for maintenance operations.
• Promote safe work practices and enforce park rules and regulations.
