Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED plus 3 years as a laborer in parks/grounds maintenance and 1 year in lead/supervisory role; equivalent combos may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervises park service technicians and coordinates crews, prioritizing tasks and ensuring proper equipment use.
• Oversees contracts for landscaping, irrigation, and related services; tracks invoices and maintains communication with contractors.
• Manages payroll and time cards, prepares schedules, and communicates maintenance requests and safety concerns.
• Maintains records for vehicles, equipment, and inventory; schedules service and repairs as needed.
• Ensures mowing, trimming, weeding, irrigation, and restroom maintenance across parks and facilities.
• Monitors OSHA standards, safety guidelines, and training programs for staff.
