Job summary

The Clark County Parks Maintenance Division is seeking a qualified Storekeeper to manage receiving, issuing, and maintaining materials, supplies, tools, and equipment. The role focuses on accuracy of records, organized storage, and timely distribution in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum requirements include high school graduation and 3 years of full-time office support or related experience, with at least 1 year in stock/warehouse roles; Nevada Class C driver's license may be required;

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 3 years of related work, including 1 year in stock/warehouse roles.
• Professional level experience and/or education may substitute on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Unpacks materials, supplies, tools and equipment; verifies against packing lists and purchase orders; stores articles on designated shelves or racks.
• Issues materials to departmental staff upon request forms; packs for delivery to off-site locations.
• Packs and returns damaged, surplus or outdated materials as instructed.
• Maintains automated stock and inventory records; uses computer terminal and generates standard reports.
• Reviews supply catalogs; contacts vendors for prices and delivery; prepares requisitions for approval and processing.
• Prepares requisitions for orders under contract agreements with vendors.
• Keeps tools and equipment clean; performs minor maintenance; uses basic hand and power tools.
• Participates in physical inventory and reconciles records with inventory counts.
• Completes clerical forms and maintains stockkeeping records; keeps storage area orderly.
