Job summary

The City of Cheyenne is seeking a Parks Maintenance Technician to perform semi-skilled and skilled work in construction, maintenance, and related services for City Parks. You will operate heavy construction and maintenance equipment and assist in grounds maintenance, including snow removal and turf care.

This full time, on-call role requires a high school diploma or GED and preferred two years of field maintenance experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life, and pension plans.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Two years field maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work on-call, weekends, and emergency snow removal.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and equipment (mowers, trucks, carts).
• Perform grounds maintenance in City Parks and athletic facilities.
• Snow removal, mowing, trimming, Sod laying, plant care, pesticides/fertilizers.
