City of Cheyenne seeks a Maintenance / Events Technician to perform outdoor maintenance, event setup and takedown, snow removal, and minor landscaping for downtown properties including Depot Plaza. The role requires reliability and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a public setting.

Responsibilities include cleaning facilities, assisting with special events, and communicating effectively with the public while representing Cheyenne in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and reliably complete tasks.
• Public relations duties include distributing information and representing the City of Cheyenne.
• Flexibility to schedule includes weekend and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, clean and maintain Municipal properties including parking structures, restrooms, Depot Plaza, and downtown facilities.
• Sweep sidewalks; remove snow and ice; maintain planters and street furniture.
• Manage graffiti and improper signs; ensure safe disposal of trash and waste.
