Job summary

The City of Temple seeks a Foreman II – Maintenance to lead daily park maintenance and ensure the operational integrity of facilities. You will supervise crewmembers, plan workloads, and enforce safety standards while coordinating with the Parks Division Director on budgets and capital requests.

You will oversee work orders in MAINTRAC, supervise hiring and training, and assist with event planning and setup. A CDL and applicable licenses are preferred or required where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of landscape maintenance and related duties.
• Two years of supervisory or lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance of park facilities and grounds.
• Direct instruction to crewmembers and manage personnel.
• Monitor safety and enforce procedures.
• Enter and track work orders in MAINTRAC.
• Develop budget and capital requests with Parks Division Director.
• Assist with events planning, setup, and teardown.
