Pima County is seeking a Parks Coordinator I to oversee outdoor installations, design, repairs, and retrofitting across Parks & Recreation locations. The role requires leading staff on concrete, fencing, earthwork, tree work, welding, and CDL- related tasks, with outdoor work about 90% of the time.

Hours are Mon-Fri, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. A Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement is required, and applicants must be able to operate CDL vehicles and heavy equipment safely.

Formación

• Five years of journey-level parks/recreation experience or substitution with education.
• Two years as Parks Specialist I/II with Pima County.
• Documentation of education and work experience is required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain facilities, equipment, and systems at parks sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance of park grounds and irrigation.
• Operate tools and equipment; CDL may be required depending on assignment.
• Prepare reports on daily operations and project status.
• Lead Parks staff and volunteers on maintenance or projects.
• Assist with setup and maintenance of park amenities.
