Minnesota City Jobs is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Worker to perform manual labor and operate equipment for parks, athletic fields, ice rinks, pools, playgrounds, and park trails. The role includes lawn and plant maintenance, seeding, mowing, weed control, and routine welding, plus snow and ice control and other emergencies as required by the City’s maintenance divisions.

Flexibility for extended days, weekends, callbacks, and shift changes is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains park lawns, trees, shrubs, and plants; seeding, sodding, and planting.
• Operates equipment and performs routine welding, and snow/ice control.
• Handles mowing, aerating, trimming, transplanting, and weed control.
• Responds to emergencies as required by City maintenance divisions.

Manual labor and equipment operation and repair related to maintenance and upkeep of parks, athletic fields, ice rinks, pools, playgrounds and playground equipment, and park trails. Also maintenance of park lawns, trees, shrubs, and plants; seeding, sodding, and planting; mowing and aerating; trimming, transplanting, and removing trees and plants; weed control; routine welding, preventive maintenance; and plowing pathways and parking lots. Must be available for extended work days, weekends, call back, shift schedule changes, snow and ice control, and other emergencies as required of the City's maintenance divisions.
