Job summary

City of McAllen, TX is seeking a Groundskeeper to support landscape and grounds maintenance on city properties. Under immediate supervision, you will use hand tools, power tools, and various equipment to complete daily tasks including sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging and raking, as well as sprinkler system work.

Under immediate supervision, the Groundskeeper landscapes and maintains grounds of property using hand tools, power tools or miscellaneous equipment. Employee typically performs a variety of manual tasks which include any combination of sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and sprinkler systems.
